Cancellation and Rescheduling Policy

Hey there! At Vongue Art Photography, client experience is our top priority. This is why we have a strict cancellation and rescheduling policy. Having these rules in place allows us to provide our clients with an exceptional photoshoot experience. We’re involved in your photoshoot before it takes place and long after, and we love that we can offer this type of experience to everyone who walks through our doors! We create specific sets, purchase additional props and accessories when needed and even train our team on new techniques, all for you! You may not see all the behind-the-scenes magic, but know that we are prepping for your big day and thinking about you long before you step in front of our camera.

When a client requests to cancel, our team has already been secured and started to plan out all the details of your photoshoot. When a client requests to reschedule and we’re unable to fill that spot, it has now taken up 2 dates on our calendar that otherwise could have gone to someone else with enough notice. If we’re able to fill your rescheduled appointment, it adds additional work and hours to our team to deliver each touch point in a reduced time frame.

Life can be unpredictable, and we do our best to accommodate its twists and turns while respecting the time and effort of our team. We compensate our team even when we’re not able to fill a last-minute cancellation or reschedule and compensate them extra for any additional hours needed to accommodate a reschedule or cancellation request.

Cancellation Policy

  • Session fees are non-refundable within 4 weeks of your photoshoot. They hold 2 dates on our calendar that secures our team of makeup artists, assistants, photographers, cleaners, studio managers etc, and we are still required to pay our team when our clients decide to cancel.

  • If you decide to cancel your session with more than 4 weeks' notice and your consultation hasn’t taken place, you will be refunded any image credit included in your session fee. The creative fee (the amount remaining) will not be refunded as it has secured 2 dates on our calendar and our team.

    • Example: You paid a $690 session fee with a $500 image credit included. You will receive a refund of $500, the $190 remaining will not be refunded.

    • Example: You paid a $250 or $199 session fee with no image credit included. You will not receive a refund.

Rescheduling Policy

  • If you need to reschedule your consultation or ordering appointment a $100 fee will be required to set a new date. Consultations must be complete at least 2 weeks before your photoshoot date and ordering appointments must be complete within 1-7 days from your photoshoot date.

  • If you cannot complete your ordering appointment within 1-7 days from your photoshoot, a $500 archival fee will be required to store your images. The archival fee can be used as credit towards your order.

  • If you need to reschedule your photoshoot a $250 fee will be required to schedule a new date. The $250 fee can be used as image credit towards your order.

  • Reschedules are subject to availability. Please keep in mind we are usually fully booked 1-2 months in advance.

  • If you need to reschedule your photoshoot for a second time, the full session fee will be required to reserve a new date. Any image credit included in your previous session fee will be carried over.

    • Example: You paid a $690 session fee and have now requested a new date twice; you will be required to pay an additional $690 to secure a new date. The credit from your previous session fee will be carried over and will not be lost.

    • Example: You booked a special like a $199 session fee or give-away, you will be required to pay our full session fee to reserve a new date. Our full session fee is $690 and mini session fee is $525. All pricing is subject to change without notice.

  • Mini-session fees are always non-refundable and non-transferable.

  • Giveaway session fees are always non-refundable and non-transferable.
