WHY PETS, WHY ME, AND WHY NOW?
For 9 years, my cat Burekas was a part of my identity. My constant in a bit of a co-dependent way that only pet parents would understand.
Coming home to him was the reason to come home. He made me laugh, he witnessed and comforted me through numerous breakups, moves, and the roughest patches of my life.
Losing him was one of the hardest things in my life.
Turns out, we take the time with them for granted - until we run out.
The kind of connection people have with their pets is so deep. You don’t get the unconditional love, acceptance, and steady presence with anyone else.
Once they are gone, the only thing that brings a bit of comfort is leaning into all the wonderful memories we had and the love we shared.
As a portrait photographer, I decided to create this offer specifically to honour the unique bond of humans and their fur babies. Because no money can buy what you have with them.
But you can capture it in portraits that will stay with you for decades.
